Learning Japanese is about learning to cope with increased frustration, let me tell you that.
My conversation however is now almost as pointless as in French, which is a good sign. Everyone seems to politely enjoy my inacurate, linguistically wrong little stories. I try to compensate approximate syntax with a double dose of pathos and grotesque.
The Japanese always respect it when you’re trying hard.
I should be learning some kanji now.
