As I write this in New York, the pigeons are fighting noisily on my window sill. Nothing deters them.
Even though there is no way to really get rid of them, it IS comforting to see their cartoon friends meeting their ends!

But they must have a purpose in this world, other than a nuisance,
God only knows.
