Do websites need to look exactly the same in every browser?

Apparently no.

That’s fine because 365questions is completely broken in IE. I should try to fix it or change the theme.
(365 questions won only 7 fights out of 26 at commandshift3.com).

Oh man, I had problems like that with my blog all the time. It is funny that you mentioned that today. Opera is suing Microsoft in the anti-trust happy EU over their bundling of IE and Windows.

Wish me luck! I’ve just submitted my site to commandshift3… I hope they take the screen shot in IE7 or Firefox!!

Thanks Justin, I changed the huge link to a tinyurl one but I lost the destination on the way. Can you give me a direct link (I thibnk it was computer world) ?

Mark : they don’t use IE, they’re on a Mac… (Command shift 3 is for taking screen shots on a mac). Unless they really send it to Pakistan for the screen shot, as they claim…

25 out of 42 so far, so that’s 60%! Better than I thought! I’ve never seen what it looks like on a mac before, so it’s not as bad as I thought! The only weird thing is the subheader on each post where the date is seems to wrap around on the right, but apart from that it looks just like it does in FF!

    I think it’s due for a redesign in 2008 anyway…
