Hotel Everland Paris : A room with a view ?
Everland is a Hotel with only one room including a bathroom, a king-size bed and a lounge.
Nothing special so far. Now have a look at this particular room:

It’s simply located on top of Paris Museum of Art. Convenient and cosy.
Opened until December 2008, you can reserve your night already. It will cost you from 333 to 444 euros depending on the day. Currently all available nights are booked however…
Oh, this is not just a regular hotel. This is an Installation. A work or art by Swiss artists Sabina Lang and Daniel Baumann. And you are part of the installation by the way.
Booking available on the site.
I reckon this is going to be the place to be in Paris in 2008.

Breakfast is included.
PS : if you have a roof, you can have almost the same, permanently. It’s called Loftcube by German Architect Werner Aisslinger. It will cost you a little more (up to 144 000 euros). With Air delivery.

We have the same thing in America. We call them trailers. You find them in trailer parks.

I was in Paris in July visiting family and I don’t remember seeing this “hotel” on top of the art museum. Has it been there all year?
How do you get inside the room? Through the museum to the roof top?
Very clever.
