A star is born?

(Please send your friendship to Olive and Mike on Olive’s Blog :  allaboutolive.com.au)
———

This might be the new star of the internet. Her name is Olive, she is Australian and she has a blog, where with the help of Mike, she tells us of her adventures.

With 2 posts, her blog is only 4 days old and aleady hitting the headlines.

What’s so special about this blog? Nothing. Except that Olive Riley was born two centuries ago, on October, 20th, 1899. By the time of Queen Victoria.

Olive is 107.

Olive is 107. She swims. She drinks Shandy (beer and lemonade). She has to wear a bell at night so her great grand children know when she wakes up and keep her from falling, but she puts a sock in the bell not to wake anyone. And Olive has a date with an Olive tree in 2010.

Isn’t life wonderful?

Thank you Olive.

Hi 365 Questuons, it seems to me that you were the first ever to comment on Olive’s blog with the very accurate prediction that Sar had been born.

Now 8 months later, Olive has had her 108th birthday, aand is feted far and wide. Just last wek it was Good Morning America, USA Today and before that BBC World News. Before that the invitation to the Jay Leno Show

lastly, just this week came her invitation to help open YouTube Australia, as an exemplary YouTuber.

And it began not just with us, but you! Thanks so much for the early boost.

    Mike the helper.

Hello Olive and thanks to Mike to keep your blog going on. It’s good to hear from you and to know you are still this very optimistic and great lady. Now about wind farms I would not say I hate them. I saw some in Lanzarote (canary islands) and they looked like very modern wind-mills. Driving along the small roads and following their shadow in the evening was a pleasure, I liked them like a piece of art. I kiss you Olive. Keep on telling us small stories. We love you. Denise

  21. JFB Says:

    Goodbye to you Olive.
    I’m sad.

  22. Denise Says:

Got the news this morning and felt very sad. Seemed Olive would never die. At least she will stay alive in my mind and stay the best example that youth is not a matter of age. Be happy where you are now Olive. So many people loved you and stilll do. I am part of them. Thanks to Mike to have given us the opportunity to hear from you. Good Bye Olive !
