That’s the baseline for Global Voices Online, a portal syndicating feeds from bloggers all over the world “with a focus on countries and communities outside the U.S. and Western Europe” (but sponsored by Harvard law school).
It’s great if you want to know the hot topics of Zimbabwe, Bhutan and even Vatican City (no recent post).
They have a small script you can embed in your own blog, for example to “Add live ‘Turks & Caicos Isl.’ headlines to your site“. Most activity is in China and India however.
I like the way posts are highlighted and extracts in original language translated. I get it into my RSS reader but I hardly ever read anything I confess, but I like the concept and I thought it was worth mentioning.
