I’ll post it when I get home. Right there with you though. This is pretty cool.

Thanks for posting! Keep the link love going! :D

I did the same at my site. And since I had Snap Preview on, it works sooooo beautifully for me. I enjoy visiting my fellow 2000 bloggers’ blogs and reading their posts.
It’s amazing to see those faces from different parts of the world and knowing everyone is connected through Tino’s great idea. Everybody has something to say about everything.

Snap Preview is a nifty bit of code that you place into your blog/site and allows you to see a snapshot preview of the site when you hover your mouse over a link. Go to this site to sign up: http://www.snap.com/about/spa1B.php. It helps your users determine where the links in your site lead to.

Thanks for posting it. I have decided not to post it on my site for various reasons, but I did link to Tino’s site and am honored to be a part of the project.

I posted the list in two chunks, one after more people joined.

Another great benefit is that when people like me are checking technorati to see what people are saying about them your blog will pop up.
By the way, nice place you’ve got here.

Want to take you up the challenge, but I need a little guidance. How do you post all the photos to your blog? Is there a really easy way that I’m missing?
January 31st, 2007 at 6:06 pm
Woo-hoo! Thanks for postiing this.

I like your term “mass awareness” - it’s so true! Thanks for posting the list.
January 31st, 2007 at 8:11 pm
Yes, today I’m feeling more of that mass awareness as I try to visit each blog that has come back with a link to mine from this monster project. It’s sure fun to meet so many great bloggers so easily!

[...] Firstly, I thought, “Fantastic! A nice place to get a solid backlink.”. Secondly Des Walsh indicated that he had an increase in his Technorati Ranking. Thirdly(!), Jean-François Berthet noticed that people could effectively develop 2000 reciprocal links by re-posting the list of 2000 bloggers. [...]

Thanks for posting the collage up! I’ve done it on my blog as well because you also gain the effect of having links dsiplayed on people’s Wordpress Dashboards.
Take care.

g’day jean-francois, i really like your posture especially on the What is 365 questions about? page. it’s nice to see a more relaxed approach to the blogosphere, don’t get me wrong there is some totally amazing stuff out there.
however sometimes too much buzz (x blogging about y who is blogging about blogging about bloggers) is like a overgassed soda in a tall glass. it get’s up your nose.
have a great day. dean

Hello there, I have opted out of the 2000 blogger list and now I get the joy of contacting all those who have added the code and requesting that my photo and link to my website be removed. Could you please see that my picture and link are removed and could you please email me when it has been removed? Thank you!

Every Thing is going fine until all of them follows the moral principle of these sharing of reciprocal links.
Share resources, Explore Opportunities.
August 30th, 2008 at 2:58 am
So, can you put a benefit value on your participation in the project..?
August 30th, 2008 at 9:59 am
Hi Craig : benefits have been a better ranking in technorati, but that was temporary.
Other benefits are that I met some nice people with blogs I still read and they became online friends.
