Want to share my “Wow moment” ?
Microsoft wants us to share how “Wow” life is with Vista.
Kinda like “youtube”.. You know, user generated content, etc. Big stuff. Buzzwords.
Great move Bill. Thanks for sharing your “Wow instant” with us (Paul Allen showing him an article about 8080 microprocessor from Intel. Just wow.)
So while browsing on the Vista sites, out of curiosity, I checked the Arabic version…
Then it struck me : they also inverted the background photo…
Because they read from right to left, of course. Brilliant. “Just Wow”.

Uh. Okay. They inverted the background image. I’ll bite. Why is that so “Wow”?

My guess is that it was a decision made to accommodate the design on that page. Had they not inverted the background, the letters in the title would have been too close to the character on top of the hill, throwing the composition off.
