Competition for Ajax start pages ?
London based protopage.com lets you customize your start page with feeds, podcasts, videos, cartoons and embedded web pages.
It’s colorful, and you can arrange the boxes at your convenience. It’s a bit confused in my opinion, but probably targets younger generations (I’m 35). I like the Comic strip flavor, though.
Like Netvibes and Pageflakes, Ajax start pages may well be everyone’s future homepage, at home and at work.
