Is banning luxury goods for North Korea the appropriate response ?

The resolution includes a ban on trade in luxury goods.
It will hurt a lot the regime. This is a severe blow.

It’s true, Kim loves delicacies :
“Kim would have aides purchase caviar for him in Iran and even sent one envoy to Beijing to bring back McDonald’s hamburgers.”
Now he will have to change his fashionable glasses [...]

Is a company with 67 people of staff (and how much sales?) worth $ 1.65 bn ?
I do not know.
I know that the deal is an all stock transaction, so basically Google is buying videos with paper.

Just visit KFA Shop, the official North Korean Online Souvenir Shop (powered by OS commerce and Paypal).
They “offer wide range of products from North Korea including music, art, handcraft and more.”
At the moment, they have 14 badges, 35 CDs, 2 DVDs and 1 book from Kim Jong Il.
A must read.
They even make nice Cartoons.
