Towards “all in one” Internet ?
There are lots of good personalized start pages like Netvibes or Pageflakes, but you have to spend some time customizing them with your own feeds. You can of course take user’s modules and tap into each portal’s respective ecosystems..
But for the lazy, there is a better place : the all in one web page. The recipe : popular feeds wrapped in ajax with expanding blocks and preview on roll over.
Take Popurls : popular urls to the latest web buzz.
You’ll get all you need on one page. The latest buzz from Digg and consors, the latest videos from youtube, flikr feeds, and your standard mainstream news sources.
Also check out theweblist or original signal, with all your survival feeds for buzz, jobs, web2.0 and gadgets.
However, it will only go faster. Nobody can read all this, even on a single page.
Stick to 365questions, (which is really really slow these days. On my way back from Rome I move this blog out of lousy 1and1, the worst hosting company in the world).
