Thomas, one of my friends working in a French web agency, reported this story to me yesterday. I just need to translate one of his posts here :

They just received a refusal email from one of their prospects. The author of the email explains that they want to work with a much better web agency, who clearly explained to them the following :

“there is a new version of internet called Web 2.0 that will cause the prior version of internet to disappear in the near future : goodbye to PHP, mySQL and other GNU, supposedly the avant garde of internet development”.

I like this comment from Christophe Lauer : ” do we know the scheduled date for this migration from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0 ? Hopefully they will do it during the night ;))”
