Is Linkdump.be the next Del.icio.us ?

365questions have recently been bookmarked by this Belgian site called Linkdump.be

It brought us some traffic (15% of our monthly modest traffic, just behind Digg) from Belgium and the Netherlands, so I got curious.

Do we have the next Del.icio.us or Digg here in Europe ? Is this low profile site competing with the French Digg clones, like Fuzz ?

How can I join, take part in the Belgian buzz ?

I just read the FAQ, or as they put it: the “Frequently Unread Answers”:

“How can I join? - At this time you can’t. And please stop harrassing other members to post links for you.”

I checked their stats, and they are…160 “linkdumpers”. That’s all. 160 guys crawling the internet and posting 56 235 links.

I hope they dump me again, or let me dump on linkdump…

Keep up the good work, folks.

It’s just a memepool clone. If I had a dollar for every memepool clone out there I could buy the licensing rights to Kanon.

  2. JFB Says:

Hi Shii. I didn’t know about memepool. I’l check it out.
    thanks for your contribution.
And anyone knows what Kanon is ?

  3. RD Says:

Do not know about Kanon, but could not figure out the point of the site…
Links with no description, I did not find a search engine….
commercial pop-ups when you go to the site….

  4. JFB Says:

Don’t you have a pop up blocker at the office ?

  5. RD Says:

I do, but this site must be really good for pop-ups !

  6. JFB Says:

    you’re right… I realized they have a rather agressive pop under policy…
